Description

The building at 30 King Street is a three-story corner building with attics, dated 1889 and designed in an Arts and Crafts Baroque style by Alfred Williams. Constructed primarily of red brick with stone dressings, it features two pediments containing Venetian windows, brick dressings, and short turrets with round windows. Balustrading is also present.

The King Street elevation presents two four-light mullioned windows separated by carved shields. The ground floor incorporates stone pilasters and round-headed windows, each topped with a scrolled keystone and swag moulding. A projecting corner extension houses the doorway, above which sits a stone urn. Brackets are present, and a stone pediment is supported by Roman Ionic columns and pilasters. A date stone displays the initials "LCB."

The Windmill Street elevation mirrors the King Street elevation, featuring five mullioned windows and two round-headed windows on the ground floor. A matching two-story, two-window extension is positioned to the right.
