Description
The County Court, located at 26 King Street, was built in 1870. It is a single-storey structure made of ashlar stone with stone dressings and features a slate roof. The building has a balustrade adorned with a quatrefoil motif and a triglyph frieze. It is supported by four coupled pilasters and has two round-headed doorcases with decorated spandrels, leading to double doors. Above the doors are fanlights with swag moulding that includes the date of construction. The court also has a plinth and three pointed mullioned windows, with two containing two lights each and the central window featuring three lights.
