Description
Crockers Place is a 17th century building that was refronted in the 19th century. It features a yellow brick facade with red brick arches and quoins. The hipped tiled roof has a parapet at the front. The entrance door, dating from the 18th century, is topped with a flat hood. At the rear, there is a 19th century addition with bricks marked 1826. The building has sash windows with glazing bars, and inside, there are window shutters and panels at the front, along with original exposed beams and wide brick fireplaces. Originally, it consisted of two cottages that were converted into one house in the 18th century, and then reverted back to two dwellings in the 19th century, which included the addition of a second entrance door from that period.
