Description
Old Mill House is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with projecting eaves at the front that have flat soffits. There is a gable end stack on the left side, and it is noted that there was formerly a stack on the right side as well. A skylight is present on the roof. The front of the house has a regular arrangement of three windows, which are 16-pane sashes set in open boxes. The ground-floor windows have segmental relieving arches above them. The central entrance features a half-glazed door framed by a broad 20th-century wooden architrave with a flat hood supported by consoles. To the left, there is a two-storey addition, with red brick on the ground floor and tile-hanging on the first floor, which includes one 16-pane sash window. There are also short rear wings on the right and in the centre of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
