Description
Manor Farm Cottages is a pair of houses, originally a house row, dating from the early to mid-18th century, with alterations in the 20th century. The front elevation is constructed of chequered red and grey brick, in small, coursed blocks. Galleted stone is visible on the left gable end, topped with a dentilled brick eaves cornice. The building is two bays deep and stands on a stone plinth. It has a hipped roof with returning hips and a central brick ridge stack. The front is arranged with a regular three-window design, featuring two three-light and one central single-light casement windows. The ground-floor windows have segmental heads. A central 20th-century panel door serves No. 1, while a boarded door is located in a brick porch to the left gable end of No. 2. A 20th-century brick lean-to has been added to the right. A datestone marked "S" is present on the stack. The interior was not inspected.
