Description

Berwick House is a house with a 19th-century facade, though it may incorporate an earlier building. The front elevation is stuccoed, while the left gable end is constructed of red and grey brick in a Flemish bond pattern. The roof is covered with plain tiles and features a hipped design, with a rendered brick stack located on the front slope, slightly right of centre. A hipped dormer window is also present. The fenestration is irregular, comprising three windows: a three-light casement with a segmental head towards the left end, a two-storey canted bay to the left of the stack with a moulded wooden cornice and sash windows, and a recessed sash window with 16 panes of glazing bars towards the right end. A canted bay window with a moulded cornice is situated on the ground floor towards the right. A door with three fielded panels is located on the right return elevation, beneath a projecting first-floor canted bay supported by wooden posts. The interior of the property has not been inspected.
