Description

No. 143 Beach Street is an early to mid-19th century building that stands three storeys tall with attics. The elevation facing Beach Street is finished in stucco with a rusticated ground floor, while the Farrier Street side is pebble dashed. It features a slate mansard roof with two dormers. On the second floor, there are two sashes with intact glazing bars. The first floor has two projecting bays with four lights each, and the ground floor includes two round-headed windows. The Farrier Street elevation has two sashes and two blank spaces. The entrance is marked by a round-headed doorcase with a stone surround and a semi-circular fanlight. Nos. 129 to 137 (odd) and Nos. 141 and 143 form a group.
