Description

Caroline Cottage and Margery’s Folly are a pair of 18th-century buildings of two storeys and attics, rendered in stucco. They have old tiled roofs with one dormer window each, and one sash window per floor. No. 18 retains its original glazing bars, while No. 20 has only vertical divisions to the window panes. A string course runs along the facade. Simple doorcases give entrance to the pair, each with a six-panelled door. The buildings are part of a group of six properties, numbered 6 to 24 (even), which run along the south side of Farrier Street.
