Description
Westhill House is an early 19th-century house located in Northbourne. It features a white brick front elevation and red brick side elevations, topped with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and a basement set on a red brick plinth, with a string course and cornice at the parapet, which is adorned with ball finials and chimney stacks on both sides. The windows are arranged regularly, with three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all having gauged basket arched heads. The central entrance consists of a door with six raised and fielded panels, set in a double rebated doorway, and is highlighted by a fine traceried fanlight above. Access to the entrance is via a flight of six moulded steps, which are flanked by simple iron railings.
