Description

The Old Waggoners is a former cottage pair dating to the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in an irregular bond, with a plain tiled roof. The building stands on a plinth with a moulded string course that rises above both the door and window openings. The roof features stacks to the right and projects at both the left and right ends. The fenestration is irregular, incorporating glazing bar sashes and wooden casements, arranged over four bays. A boarded door is located in the rear elevation. A string course is also present in the rear elevation, with variations in its height over the window and door openings.
