Description

Thatch Cottage is a house that originated in the 16th century. It features a timber frame with painted brick infill and has been extended with painted brick. The cottage has a thatched roof and consists of two and a half framed bays. It is one storey high with an attic, sitting on a plinth made of flint and brick, and has a hipped roof. There are stacks located to the centre right and at the end right, along with two raking dormers. On the left side, there is a three-light wooden casement window, while the right side has a horizontal glazing bar sash window. There is a blocked doorway with arched heads located to the centre right, and the current entry is through a 20th-century doorway at the rear elevation.
