Description

Numbers 7 and 9 on The Chain are 18th century cottages dated 1703. They are two storeys tall, each featuring one window, constructed from brown brick with tiled roofs. The eaves cornice has been removed, but the glazing bars are intact, and there are modern shutters. The cottages have six-panel moulded doors. These buildings, along with Nos 1 to 23 (odd) and Nos 4 to 12 (even) on Church Street, as well as No 1 and the outbuildings at Millwall Place, form a group.
