Description

The stable block, located about 20 metres south of the Dower House, dates from the 17th century and was altered in the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in English bond and features a plain tiled roof. The building is one storey high with a loft and has corbelled brick eaves beneath a hipped roof, which includes a hipped loft dormer. There is a stack at the rear left and two ventilator heads, one in the centre and one to the right. The stable block has three inserted two-light Dering windows and large cart doors at the left end, along with a central boarded door that has a rectangular fanlight above it.
