Description
The Old Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of white brick, with red brick and flint on the southwest elevation, and has a plain tiled roof. The building features two parallel ranges and stands two storeys high with a basement, having stacks on both the left and right sides. The windows are arranged regularly, with two glazing bar sashes and a central semi-circular head glazing bar sash on the first floor, and two glazing bar sashes with cambered painted heads on the ground floor. The central entrance door consists of six moulded panels and is topped by a traceried semi-circular fanlight, all set within a panelled surround that includes pilasters, a raised entablature, and an open pediment. There is a basement opening to the right.
