Description
Halton Court is a house that dates from the mid-18th century and is a recladding of a timber frame structure that may date back to the 15th century or earlier. The building is clad with red brick and rendered, topped with a plain tiled roof. It stands two storeys high and features a kneelered parapet gable on the left side, with chimney stacks located to the centre left and a projecting stack at the end right.
On the first floor, there are two glazing bar sash windows alongside a central wooden casement. The ground floor has three segmentally headed tripartite glazing bar sashes. To the left of the building, there is a six-panel door with a gable hood above it. At the rear, there is a catslide outshot. Inside, there is reported evidence of a timber framed hall house. The front wall has a brick that is initialled "T.L. 1740". The site has historical significance as a manorial site.
