Description

The Old Rectory is a house built around 1700 for the Slater family. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, set on a plinth, with a wooden modillion eaves cornice and kneelered parapet gables. It includes flat-roofed dormers and stacks that project at both ends. The windows are arranged regularly, with five glazing bar sashes on the first floor and four on the ground floor, all featuring gauged heads and flying cornices. The central entrance has a glazed door with a rectangular traceried fanlight, framed by a pilaster surround. To the left, there is a recessed two-storey wing.
