Description
Staple Farmhouse is a house from the 17th century that was altered in the late 19th century. It is constructed of red brick, which is painted on the entrance front, and features a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, sitting on a plinth with a moulded plat band and a brick eaves cornice. There is a kneelered parapet gable on the left side, two hipped dormers, and chimney stacks at both ends. The façade includes two canted two-storey bays that alternate with two sash windows on the first floor. On the ground floor, there is one sash window to the right and a central door with six raised and fielded panels, topped by a rectangular fanlight and a cornice hood supported by reeded pilasters.
