Description
Number 10 Mill Wall Place is a red brick, two-storey house built in the late Regency period. It features box sash windows with flat arches above them and a doorway with a semi-circular arch. The building has a parapet and a slate roof. Attached to the house is a gas lantern, which has been converted to electricity and dates from the mid-19th century. This lantern is mounted on a modern wall bracket and is supported by four curved ogee braces. The lantern has a square plan, with a larger top than bottom, and is adorned with anthemion foliage at each corner of its sloping roof. It is topped with a bell-shaped vent that has a scalloped cap and a finial. Number 10, along with numbers 10 to 32 (even), forms a group.
