Description

Norfolk House is a house built in the mid-19th century, resting on 17th-century foundations. It features a red brick exterior and a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a basement, set on a plinth, constructed in English Bond. The roof is adorned with a moulded wooden eaves cornice and has a stack at the rear. The front has a regular arrangement of three sash windows with segmental heads on the first floor and two sash windows on the ground floor, flanking a central half-glazed door that is topped with a flat hood supported by brackets. There are also segmental-headed openings for the basement on both the left and right sides. This house is included in the register for its group value.
