Description

A pair of houses dating from around 1830, located on the west side of Canterbury Road in Denton and Wootton. The cottages are constructed of striking red and blue chequered brickwork, with a slate roof. They are two storeys high, featuring a hipped roof and chimneys positioned centrally and to the rear left and right. The windows are arranged regularly, with four glazing bar sashes on each floor. The ground floor windows have segmental heads. A boarded door is located on both the left and right sides, each set within a gauged semi-circular surround.
