Description

The Old Bakery is a house dated 1714, though it has an earlier origin. It features a timber frame with exposed studding on the right side, plaster infill, and is clad with painted brick on other sides. The roof is plain tiled and hipped. The building stands two storeys high on a plinth, with a plat band. There are stacks at the left end and centre right. The first floor has four glazing bar sash windows, while the ground floor includes two segmentally headed wooden casements, with the central one forming a long range, and a triple sash window to the right. The entrance door is made of six raised and fielded panels, positioned off centre to the right, with the top two panels glazed and a raking hood above. A date stone is located at the upper centre of the building.
