Description

Lavender Cottage is a house dating from the 16th or 17th century. It features a timber frame with exposed small scantling studding and plaster infill, and is underbuilt with flint and brick dressings. The roof is pantiled, with some plain tiles, and the building has two storeys. The right side has a hipped roof with a catslide outshot at the end. There are stacks located at the end left and centre right. On the first floor, there are three large wooden casements and one small wooden casement, while the ground floor has three wooden casements and a bay window to the left. A plank and stud door is located to the right in a gabled porch.
