Description
Porch House is a house dating from the late 17th century, with an extension added in the mid 18th century. It is constructed of red brick, with the extension featuring flint, and has a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys of different heights, set on a flint plinth, with the roof stepping up to the left and hipped at the end left. There are stacks located at the centre left and projecting at the end left. The left wing has one glazing bar sash window on each floor. The main range features three wooden casements on the first floor, and a triple wooden casement and a single wooden casement to the right on the ground floor. The central door consists of six raised and fielded panels, with the top two panels being glazed, and is set within a large doorcase that has fluted pilasters and a full cornice.
