Description
The School House is a boarding school building constructed in 1880, likely designed by Henry Hayward of Dover. It is built in a Gothic style with some Romanesque features, using flint with stone dressings and topped with a tiled roof. The building has three storeys and attics, featuring irregularly placed windows. There are sash windows, some of which are mullioned and transomed, while others are round-headed or plain. The end bays project and have gables with some blank arcading, and the center includes hipped dormers. The entrance features a round-headed doorcase that is accessed by a flight of stairs with pierced stone balustrading.
