Description
The Whitehall Inn is a public house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rendered brick, with exposed red and blue check patterns on the return elevations, and features slate roofs. The building has a double range and stands two storeys high with an attic, set on a plinth. It includes two flat-roofed dormers and chimney stacks at the right end. The windows are arranged regularly, with three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two glazing bar sashes on the ground floor, along with a wooden casement window to the right. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door framed by a pilaster and cornice surround. There is a small 20th-century single-storey extension to the right and a larger two-storey extension to the left, which has weatherboarding on the brick ground floor and features one sash window on each floor, along with a half-glazed door.
