Description

No 18 on King Street is a three-storey timber-framed building with a slate roof. The elevation is covered with horizontal planking that resembles rustication without visible joints. On the first floor, there are two windows with glazing bars. The second floor features larger openings that were historically used for loading merchandise. The ground floor has a modern shop front. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 12 to 20 (even) on King Street, Nos 2 to 8 (even) on Austen's Lane, and Nos 13 to 21 (odd) on New Street.
