Description
71 Strand Street is a 16th century timber-framed house, with the north front facing the street rebuilt in painted brick in the early 19th century. The building has two storeys and features two windows. It has a modillion eaves cornice and intact glazing bars. The doorway is adorned with pilasters and has a flat hood above. On the west front, timber framing with painted brick infilling is visible, and it has wide overhanging eaves supported by carved brackets. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 63 to 71.
