Description

The boundary walling to the rear of No 75 Strand Street is located along Cottage Row. It is constructed of flint and stone, incorporating some Roman and 16th-century bricks. The wall is likely originally medieval but has been altered in parts during the 16th century and early 19th century, with one section made of red brick. The wall has been lowered in two sections, particularly where it meets Creighton Flats, and is reduced to 2 feet high where it returns to School Lane. The general height of the wall is approximately 7 feet and it spans about 90 feet in length.
