Description
Unity Cottages are a pair of cottages built around 1820, likely constructed as two pairs due to the central break in the brickwork. They are made of stock brick with rubbed brick voussoirs, have stuccoed plinths, tiled roofs, and brick chimneystacks. The cottages are two storeys high and feature four windows and four window spaces on the first floor, along with a modillion eaves cornice. The windows are sixteen-pane sashes with moulded architraves, cambered heads, and a reeded pattern on the ground floor windows. The round-headed doorcases have solid fanlights and moulded architraves, while the front doors are from the 20th century. A stuccoed plaque between the two central cottages displays the name "UNITY COTTAGES."
