Description
St Cuthberts, located at 68 Strand Street, is a building from the mid-19th century that incorporates earlier work, likely from the 16th century. It is constructed of yellow brick and has two storeys, featuring a parapet and a projecting plaster section. The roof is tiled. On either side of the entrance, there are recessed panels containing windows. The first floor has three windows with flat brick arches above them, while segmental brick arches are found over the panels. Above the door, there are two brick rings with a keystone and a moulded head of an old man. The entrance consists of a four-panel door, with the upper two panels made of glazed coloured glass, and a similar semi-circular fanlight above it. St Cuthberts is part of a group with buildings numbered 68 to 82 (even).
