Description
The boundary walling of Bartlemas is located on the north and east sides, adjacent to Dover Road and St Bart's Road. This wall is constructed from a mix of brick, stone, and flint, and it is likely contemporary with the house. The wall stands approximately 5 feet high and stretches about 200 feet along St Bart's Road, with two sections measuring 25 feet each along Dover Road. The complex includes St Bartholomew's Hospital, which features 16 almshouses, a chapel, a wardens' house, and farm buildings. Bartlemas and the St Bartholomew's Hospital complex are recognized as a cohesive group.
