Description
Number 16, The Beach, is an early 19th-century building located in Walmer. It is two storeys tall with an attic and a basement, and it features a stuccoed exterior. A mansarded slate roof has been added to enlarge the top floor, which includes one double-sashed dormer. The building has a cornice and a parapet. On the ground floor, there is a wooden balcony with intact glazing bars, and above it, a French window is fitted with Venetian shutters. To the south, there is a ground floor addition that includes one window and a porch, with an iron railing above that creates a verandah. At the rear, there is a recessed wing with one window added on the first floor.
