Description

This is a row of four houses, numbered 17 to 20, built in the early to mid-19th century. They are three storeys high with basements and attics. The houses have slate mansard roofs, each featuring two dormers. A wide cornice, embellished with modillions, runs along the top of the facades. Each house has three windows, with some original glazing bars remaining in the sashes. The front entrances have double doorways, and houses 17 and 19 feature decorative cast iron verandahs. Houses 1 to 39, consecutively numbered, are designated as a group.
