Description

There are three headstones located about 2 to 10 metres south of the Church of St. Andrew in Tilmanstone. The first headstone is for Michael Wood, who died in 1758. It stands about 2 feet high and features three cherubs' heads, scrolled shoulders, and a segmental head with cartouche details. The second headstone commemorates John Manger, who died in 1770. This one is approximately 3 feet high and displays two cherubs' heads with trumpets, a scrolled pediment shaped head, and a central acanthus flourish. The third headstone is for Ann Martin, who died in 1698. It is about 2 feet high and has a double segmental head, adorned with two skulls and crossed bones.
