Description
This barn, located about 60 metres north of Nash Court, dates from the 17th century and late 18th century. It features a timber frame set on a red brick base, and is clad with weatherboard beneath a corrugated iron roof. The roof has a half-hip on the left side and steps down to the right, forming a double-pitch. There is a gabled mid-stray to the centre right and three skylights. Inside, the barn has four bays with aisles; the aisles on the west (left) side are from the 18th century, while those on the east (right) side are from the 17th century and include passing shores to the arcade posts. The clasped purlin roof has been renewed over the 17th-century bays. This barn is included for its group value with Nash Court.
