Description

This structure consists of a wall and stable block located about 20 meters east of Wingham House, dating from the 16th to 18th century. The wall is made of red brick in header bond with a flint upper course and features brick coping on the eastern face, while the western face is entirely constructed of flint. The wall stands approximately 6 feet high and is attached to a stable block made of red brick on a flint base, topped with a slate roof. The stable block includes three segmentally headed wooden casements and a boarded door on the right, which has a rectangular fanlight above it. The south end of the wall is finished with two rendered gate piers that have stone caps.
