Description

Copley House is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of The Street, Eythorne. The front elevation is built of yellow stock brick, while the side walls are of flint and rubble. The roof is tiled and features stacks on the left and right sides of the building. It is three storeys high, with three glazing bar sashes on the first and second floors and two on the ground floor, all with painted heads. A central glazed door is framed by a semi-circular rebated surround, topped with a semi-circular fanlight. The interior includes early 19th-century doors, fireplaces, and a straight baluster staircase. The group value of Copley House stems from its contribution to the streetscape.
