Description
These oasts, located about 30 meters northeast of Marshborough Farmhouse, date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof. Originally, the building likely served as storage with a single kiln but was later expanded to include three kilns. The two-storey storage area sits on a plinth and features a plat band and a half-hipped roof. It has a loft door above a boarded door and two wooden casement windows. The rear of the building has been extended, and to the right are three square-section kilns topped with tiled, pyramidal roofs and cowls. At the time of the survey, the kiln roofs were noted to be in poor condition, with the cowls also damaged.
