Description

The Scarborough Cat is a mid-19th century building located at 199 Beach Street. It has three storeys and a basement, with a stuccoed exterior. The building features a stone moulded eaves cornice and two canted bays with three lights on the upper two floors. The ground floor includes one three-light sash window and one altered 19th-century shop front. There are two simple doorcases, with the one on the left having fielded panels. The buildings numbered 183 to 199 (odd) form a group.
