Description

Beech Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof and stands two storeys high on a plinth, featuring a plat band. There is a stack at the right end and a 20th-century flue projecting from the left end. The cottage has two leaded wooden casements on each floor, with cambered heads on the ground floor; the right one has been rebuilt in the late 20th century. The central entrance is a half-glazed door topped with an open pedimented hood supported by brackets. At the rear, there is a later wing built from rendered material and flint.
