Description

High Gaut is a house built in 1914 by the architect C.F.A. Voysey. It features a roughcast exterior and a green slate roof, complemented by blue-grey glazed brick stacks. The building is single-storey with a large hipped roof and prominent stacks located at the left end, center, and rear right. There are two canted bay windows, each with parapets that break the eaves line, and a continuous strip of metal casements set in stone surrounds. Access is provided through a half-glazed door located on the right return. Originally named Fairway when it was constructed.
