Description

Duckpit is a continuously jettied house dating to the 16th century. It has two storeys. The ground floor is painted brick, while the first floor is timber-framed with plaster infilling, and some curved braces are visible. There are three casement windows, and traces of original mullioned window openings remain. The roof is tiled, hipped in form. A simple doorcase is present. Modern lean-to extensions have been added. The building possesses group value from its contribution to the character of the area.
