Description

Nos 12 to 14 on Castle Street are early 18th century buildings that were refaced in the early 19th century. They are two storeys tall, constructed of brick with stone coping, and feature a roof with three hips and three dormers. The buildings have four sash windows with intact glazing bars, except for No 14, which has a later 19th century shopfront. There are three simple doorcases, two of which have six-panelled doors, along with footscrapers and a plinth. Nos 1 to 9 and Nos 12 to 24 on Castle Street form a group.
