Description
Nos 10 and 11 Hawks Lane are likely 17th-century timber-framed buildings that were altered in the 18th century. They stand three storeys tall with a basement and are finished in painted brick. The roof is tiled and features three gables, with the left gable being tile-hung. Each gable has one casement window. A simple bressumer supports the overhang, and there is a stringcourse present. Only No 11 has three sashes with intact glazing bars. Both buildings have two 18th-century wooden doorcases that include pediments, console brackets, pilasters, panelled reveals, and six-panelled doors. These buildings, along with Nos 1, 2, the extension to No 6, and Nos 6 to 15, form a group.
