Description

Number 6 on Hawks Lane is a late 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall with a basement, constructed of painted brick. It features a bracket cornice and has three recessed sash windows with intact glazing bars. The doorcase is adorned with an open pediment and panelled reveals, supported by Tuscan columns that have oak leaf capitals. There is a footscraper and three steps leading up to the entrance, which consists of a six-panelled door with fielded panels and a lamp. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1, 2, the extension to No 6, and Nos 6 to 15 consecutively.
