Description

Vernon Grange is an early 19th-century building with an older core. The front facade is stuccoed and two stories high, topped by a cornice and parapet. It features three sash windows with intact glazing bars, although the ground floor has been altered with the addition of two later bay windows. A porch with Doric columns provides entrance. The side elevation has been remodeled in a Gothic style, displaying a crenellated parapet and four pointed arched sash windows with hoed moulds and corbels. The rear elevation is brick, featuring sash windows with glazing bars. The building forms a group with numbers 17 to 39 (odd) on Old Dover Road.
