Description

The Cross Keys Inn, located at No 24 Oaten Hill, is a corner house dated 1713. It is two storeys tall with an attic, constructed of painted brick. The roof features two dormers and an eaves cornice, along with a stringcourse. There are three windows on each front. The ground floor has matching sash windows and a three-light bay on the right side. The central doorcase is topped with a weatherhood and pendants, leading to a six-panelled door. Attached to it, No 39 Old Dover Road has an early 19th-century shop front and a simple moulded wooden doorcase. The rear elevation of the building has a hipped roof.
