Description

This is an 18th century or earlier building, likely refronted in the mid-19th century. It is a red brick cottage with a yellow brick stringcourse and window dressings, set within a rural location. The cottage has a hipped roof covered in old tiles, and a parapet with stone coping. A two-storey lean-to extension, built in a matching style and with a slate roof, adjoins the left side. Four sash windows are present, all with vertical glazing, and cambered head linings and wooden sills. The ground floor windows feature louvred shutters. Number 33 has a doorcase with a flat wooden hood supported by brackets, and a six-panelled door. Number 34 has a similar doorcase with a flat wooden hood and brackets, but with a rectangular fanlight above the door. A round-headed passage entrance is located at the extreme right. The rear elevation of Number 34 features a hipped gable.
