Ye Olde Yew Tree Inn is a 15th century timber-framed building located on the south side of Westbere Lane. It features plaster infilling and diagonal braces on the ground floor. The first floor of the easternmost window bay extends out over the ends of the floor joists, supported by a moulded dragon post. The building has a hipped tiled roof and stands two storeys high, with three casement windows. On the right side, there is an original arched wooden doorcase with blank spandrels. The east front is finished with plaster on the ground floor and tarred weatherboarding above.
