Description

These barns, located about 20 metres north of Sankey Farmhouse, date from the 18th century or earlier. They are constructed with a timber frame and are weather boarded, featuring plain tiled roofs. The barns consist of two separate structures, both resting on red brick bases. The barn on the right has a hipped roof, while the left-hand block has a roof that steps up and out with a half-hip. There is a boarded door positioned to the centre left. The rear elevations of the barns are plain, lacking any projections or distinctive features. These buildings are included for their group value.
